Jesus says that if they persecuted Him, they will persecute us as well.
Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also (John 15:20).
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you (Matthew 5:10-12).

You are failing to take into account the nature of the governments in question, as well as the number of non-Christians who are persecuted, what "at risk" means, what "persecution" itself means, and how you, as a Christian, feel little to no persecution where you are.
When I was a Christian, I was not persecuted. Now that I am agnostic, I am still not persecuted. We do not live in an area where persecution is really allowed.
You do not understand the meaning of this, nor of the words of Jesus.
