What happens when the Watchtower Society has "New Light"? Let's say that you were Disfellowshipped for questioning the Society?....What if later "New Light" showed the Watchtower Society that what you thought was in fact accurate. ( Like " I didn't believe that Armageddon would come by 1975" )....Would the Elders who disfellowshipped, you and the Jehvahs Witnesses who shinned, you be bloodguilty of stumbling you, and this inable to receive Gods blessing and thus lose their salvation?

Supposedly it's the anointed that are part of the governing body of Jehovah's Witness's that receive new knowledge from God himself and transfer this new knowledge to all the witness's in the world. Do I believe in this, no because the anointed are just the board of directors for the WBTS that’s all. Their not pastors or people of higher authority in gods eyes and yet they can change bible scripture with a snap of a figure and no one can question it or debate their decision.

As for the disfellowshipping that is totally not what Jesus intended when he mention one should not eat with a disfellowshiped man. If you sin (which we all will) you get spoken to, if you happen to sin again (which you will) you get reproved which they take away a responsibility you had in the congregation, if you sin again ( which imperfect people do) they will outcast you and no one including your own family can talk to you unless you live with them. Literally they can become disfellowshiped if they do talk to you. This will last for at least a year, a year of seclusion where you have to attend a church where you are branded a outcast and people treat you as such to prove you are repentant. Then you have to write a letter stating why you should be reproved and then the elders have to approve it. How will this motivate someone to change and how is this loving, or Christ like, wow I love not being a witness anymore and really feeling what Christ like love is.

When they get new light bulbs.

Come on people. The Watchtower Society is the offices and printing facility used by Jehovah's Witnesses. It, itself, does not get new light. People searching the scriptures do as Jehovah's WItnesses.

People are not disfellowshipped for questioning the Watchtower Society. I have questioned them. People are disfellowshipped because they are disruptive in the congregation.

Jehovah's WItnesses, even the governing body, believed that armagaddon could come in 1975 or any other date prior or after that.

Disfellowshipping is not about "new light", or about rules changing, it is about that the person can not work with and get along with others in the congregation. Which is a trait that you exhibit.

You stated "in 1975 i could not work with the elders because I didn't think that the end was coming"

I don't know what that means. There are many that believed taht the end could come in 1975 just as any other year, but did not believe as to any specific dates. So if you believed that way, you were not alone, many others believed that way.
I recently posted some some talks on jwproclaimers.org from Fred Franz in 1975 in which he states that they are not saying that they are making a prediction that they end will come by a certain date, but he was stating the chronology that they believed. And why would you have to work with the elders anyway? Just mind your own business and everything works out fine. That is what I do.

The person is still disfellowshipped but may be reinstated if he follows the usual procedure - repenting of his sin which was to doubt the Watchtower Society - right or wrong.

That's an interesting question because it has happened that people were disfellowshipped because of not being able to accept "all" the teachings of the "faithful slave", only to have the "slave" eventually rescind the very teachings that caused the person to disagree, leading to their disfellowshipping as a person "causing divisions". One doesn't have to actively promote divisions in the congregation to be labeled an apostate - quietly refusing to accept one of more teachings of the "slave" will earn you the label.

The WT view is that person should accept the WT false teachings and "wait on Jehovah" to straighten it out in "His" time. It is a ridiculous assumption to say that Jehovah will cause the WT to stop teaching a certain doctrine, when the WT claims that it was Jehovah who led them to teach that false doctrine in the first place, and called it the "truth".

Did Jehovah cause the WT to stop denying that Romans 13:1 is speaking of the governments? Well, if he did, why would he have caused them to START denying that Rom 13:1 was speaking about the governments in the first place? They did that on their own, and they STOPPED teaching it on their own.

What about the Catholics who are still waiting on God to straighten out the Catholic church? There wouldn't even be any Protestants or Jehovah's Witnesses if everyone just "waited" on Jehovah to straighten out the Catholic Church.

Many scream apostate and demonic and refuse to see their nose on the front of their face.

On the contrary "Hot Attention".

.The questioner asked and gave information about her own life.

.This has nothing to do with corporate structure and everything to do with the carrying out of dogma as put forth in the materials that are followed by 6.5 million people that are active members of the Jehovah's Witnesses who are under the teachings of the Watchtower Society.

The Watchtower fairy follows the money trail and sprinkles the “new light” fairy dust along the path.

Jehovah's Witnesses have predicted the end of the world many times when they deny they lie.

The Watchtower Society never gets new light because they don't believe the Bible and they never rightly divide the Word of Truth. The Lord Jesus came to earth as a man so He could die for your sins and rise again the third day for your justification. Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

I agree-New Light=New Lie.
They have so many false prophecies, it is hard to keep up with them! I feel sorry for the JW's who swallow these new lies hook, line, and sinker. I really wish they could research the doctrines that their cult is based on and see the truth for themselves. Alas, while they are in the common cult tactic of denial and fear of being "disfellowshipped" for questioning or demanding reason from the elders, there is really nothing more to do but continue to preach to them "The Good News" of the bible and hope they get it one day before it is too late.

Sadly, this questioner continues to pretend that one or more of the various "Watchtower Society" entities has theological significance. These corporations are mere legal corporations.

New Light = New Lie.

The Watchtower Corporation makes up new predictions when their old ones are proven to be bullshit.

They use these "lights" to control their members to keep them interested.
