Invisalign is not cheaper than braces, it is the same cost if not more. The thing with invisalign is that they have a lot of control in this market area of ortho and they name the cost, not the orthodontist. It is very expensive for the docs to do in the office for them to fabricate and also for all the materials it takes to do so. I don't know if it would be able to close a 2mm gap though, you might check with your ortho....he'll/she'll be able to tell for sure.

FYI INVISALIGN ISN'T CHEAP. IT'S ABOUT $2,000 OUT OF POCKET BEFORE INSURANCE PAYS.
YOU'RE BETTER OFF WITH BONDING OR VENEERS.
