I personally like to either use them as toilet paper when my charmin runs out or I line my bird cage with them. Whats your favorite thing to do with this cult publication?

I have read the watchtower and I can not say it it is a legitimate religous publication. Unlike the average Jw I have attended Seminary to study the Bible. I didn't learn Christianity from a cult.

us Ministers do obtain copies of the watchtower to show people the dangers of cults. The Watchtower has changed its theology more often thanJohn Kerry did in the elections.

Dang it! I wondered why I thought you were so good-looking! (duh, I should have known) Anyway- back to your question...I don't get this publication sent to my house. I read it couple of times at a landrymat (back in the day) and found that a lot of the articles layered over total contradictions to the Bible. I do not even use it for a counter liner for potato peelings. I have young children in the house and I am directly responsible in the eyes of God for what they are exposed to at this age.

you know, I can say your religion is a cult too. What makes you think we are a "cult" Is it because we want to save you? Or maybe its because we so warmly invite your guys to meetings. Would a "cult" do that. From what I know about cults that they all live in the same area far away from people. Jehovah's Witnesses live EVERYWHERE on this earth. There are 6 million of us! Anything you fire at us, we can say the same about you. Have you even read the bible? Have the people in your church read the bible cover to cover. Jehovah's Witnesses read the bible. We aren't forced Into anything. We do it because we are trying to save you guys but you don't appreciate it. Christians are Christ like. Are you a true Christian because they don't show hate. They show love.

I read it.
I've also read the Bible (various) four times.
I've read the Quran, the Vedas, etc.
Been quite a trip.
I believe in freedom of religion, yet I understand your quest. I have a similar quest about Islam, as my family escaped Islam in the 1950s.
1) Change your name.
2) Associate with only Islamic people.
3) Leave and you die.
4) etc.
Some amazing similarities to cult behavior.
However, the only time I post about it is when someone lies about Islam (in either direction). Then I answer.
Someone familiar with Aramaic (the language) and Jewish history and idiom might feel the same way about the Christian mistranslations of common Aramaic idioms in the Bible, no?
I, however, recognize it's place, if only as one of the most historically significant documents to Western history, and a source of great wisdom.
I am not dependent on the fall of a religion or cult to feel good about myself, or to be insulting in crude ways to make my point.
You have lost your focus.
God. The fight may be right.
This is not the way to the fight.

I just never accept it. Remember the old days when they asked for 25 cents for them 'to cover the cost of printing' and then it was discovered that they owned their own printing presses & it cost them less than 3 cents a copy to produce them? It's a good question but i wish you had been a little kinder about it. What's with the Christians on here today being so mean spirited? We need to tell the J.W's and others about Christ while displaying His love.

I am shocked that you can call yourself a Christian. Agree with us or disagree but do not be disrespectful. What is the saying "what would Jesus do?" do you think he would do something like that? Would he say such hurtful things? Would he call people who follow his commands and preach the good news to people a cult. Would he be mad at people for being loving, kind, generous, self-less, promoting Jehovahs kingdom, non-violent, not following the world and the evil doers who try to corrupt people with their sex, drugs and violence on television and in music. I am personally looking forward to Jesus' return because I would love to hear how he and Jehovah feel about this hatred amoungst us.

Kip, do you spit in everyones face?
Have you ever read a watchtower?
Too deep for you?
We have 2 preachers coming to the Kingdom Hall to get their copy of the Watchtower magazine so that the next week they can use the info at their church.
It has been said during the Watchtower study at the Kingdom Hall new comers learn more in one hour then they learned their whole life at their church.
The Watchtower society uses all of our monies that we contribute to printing magazines, tracts, and bibles, and books to help you come to know God and so it will be free to you.
That is why they are free to you because we love you more than money and even use our gas and our cars to bring it to your door.
Soon we will be in the paradise earth and all will be well. But until then we love you and are trying to help you as Jesus told us to do.
So scoff if you like....use it any way you wish ...it's yours...but personally you have a life line there in your hands and you are throwing it away as refuse.
You look smarter than that.

That seems rather homo-erotic to want to use a magazine (which isn't the softest paper in the world) to wipe yourself... but what are we to expect from someone dressed as a preacher???
Of course if you took the time to either decline them or read them, you wouldn't be in the awkward position of having to ask this question.

i just put them in the trash...don't want them recycled.
DEBBIE...What do you think the preachers DO with the Watchtowers once they get them to their churches....Think past your blindness...You assume they use them as study outlines, but they are looking for more ridiculous dogma so they can train people how to comment on your rediculous theology.

Use it as a wick in my Molotov cocktails. The cut rate ink they use burns just quick enough to hurl them about 10 yards.

2. Have you read the defintion of a cult? They don't fit it.
3. Thats a great representation of your religion.
4. Why don't you actaully try to read it? Maybe its too advanced for you.
5. Thats fine your just fulfilling the prophecy Jesus gave us, that they will hate his followers because of his name.
So hey, thanks!
Negative comments encourage me even more.
