nope they are the sort of veggie you just wash off and go to town on. i never ever ever peel my zucchinis or pickles.
now cuces with thicker bitter skins i'll peel before using in a salad- kirby cuces no peeling.

For the bread either way but most people prefer with out peelings. Pickles may be stronger with the peeling-your choice.

Don't peel.Use the same way as you would a cucumber.
Add a 1/4 tsp of alum to each jar to keep them crunchy.
