You may say "Christian are violent, or liars, or whatever you want. But when you compare them with other religions, they are not. At least not the real Christians. Why are Christians then the most persecuted?

And don't tell me they are not persecuted. Stop watching "fox news" and look at the international channels.

I'm Christian, but would suggest that the Jews have been more persecuted historically. Does the term "Holocaust" ring a bell? And look at the treatment of Jews from ancient history down to the present day. Read records of how they were treated in medieval Europe. Muslims, Pagans, Bahá'ís, and many other groups have also been highly persecuted. It's not just Christians.

I don't know if historically they are "the most" but certainly in present day they are. Generally the entire Middle East hates Christians and they can be terminated upon their discovery. Communist China as well as the former Soviet Union has been and is relentless in the elimination of Christians. And then of course the "politically correct" secular progressives in the US work to eliminate any idea of Christianity. It's interesting, at least to me, that a bible in many public schools is not allowed, however the Koran is okay. Reading a Christian passage or prayer is not allowed, however, it is acceptable to read passages from the Koran in the classroom.

Reading the majority of the answers to your question is a blatant display of that attitude. One might ask, what are these people afraid of?

As to the Holocost, while Jews were the largest targeted group, also targeted were Catholics, Gypsies, the elderly, the mentally impaired, the physically impaired and others.

The Holocost was a horrible event, but nor more so that the 25 + million people murdered by Stallin in his own homeland.

What, pray tell, is a "real Christian"? How exactly are you being persecuted? Seriously, I want some examples. You throw around a word like persecute and I truly believe you have no understanding of the word. Christians have more power and freedoms than most do because you have your god and the church to back you up. Get over yourself.

I know that persecution of Christians is real in other countries such as Sudan, China, and India. However, I don't think they're the "most" persecuted religion in the world, or the only. Atheists can be killed in many countries, for one thing. Muslims and Hindus clash in India. Jews are surrounded by enemies in the Middle East. And so on, and so on.

Satan is the "god" of this world. As if that weren't obvious by watching fox news and the international channels. Therefore since Christianity is the following of Jesus, Satan despises these the most. He always has. Then the dragon (Satan) was enraged with the woman (Israel) and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring (Christians)—those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

The Apostle John told fellow Christians: "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He (God's Holy Spirit) that is in you, than he (Satan) that is in the world" I John 4:4.

Many people hate Christians because of willful ignorance and innocent misunderstanding as well. Also Satan's doing. That is why he is called the "father of lies". We are in the lion's den. And it was said..."Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me". Keep you head up.

God bless

Because we tell the truth. We say that there are such things as absolute morals and that there is sin, telling them this hits a soft spot and they become convicted of their sin but instead of repenting they want to keep their sins and live their normal lives.

Jesus said it clearly in John 3:19-20,"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than ligh because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light neither cometh to the light lest his deeds should be reproved.

Satan hates christianity and he well do what ever it takes to get man to go against the grain.

God says if those that are called by my name would humble themselves and pray I will heal their land.

We are called by the name of Jesus Christ. Read the persecutions that occurred when the people of God did the most acts. The book of acts.

Are you forgetting what communist China has done to millions of Buddhists?

Do Christian win some sort of a prize or reward in heaven if they're the most persecuted? Ahh... that's it isn't it?

The Jews might be able to argue against this. They have been persecuted and kicked out of almost everywhere. They've been slaves and faced genocide.
