What do you do, other than divorcing, when your husband acts like a beast? Name, calling, constant criticism

Pray to God like you've never prayed before, so that He could deal with your husband directly. Seek forgiveness before your feelings transform to bitterness and anger, and release them and your husband under God's care. I do not know what is a more comforting AND scarier place than to be in the correcting and disciplining hands of God. Trust in Him and He will deal with your husband, who shows the characteristics of a rebellious stubborn ungrateful potty-mouthed child.

If my husband called me names and constantly criticized me I would first tell him he was sinning against me. If He continued I would go to my Pastor. if my husband would still refuse to repent the church would excommunicate him.

besides dealing with the spiritual issue, you need to consider the leagl/and safety issues. The behaviors you are describing a signs of abusive tendencies. You need to make a safety plan so you can escape in a hurry if you need to.

Set money aside in an account with only your name.

Get your own cell phone for your use only and don't give the number out.

Tell someone you trust what is going on, so they can help you in an emergency.

Set up a safety/escape plan.

Document any instance of physical/emotional abuse with photos or recordings to use as evidence.

Please be safe!!!!

Pray about it! Ha ha ha. There is the solution. Stay in an abusive marriage and then start talking to yourself. Now not only are you crazy for staying with him, you are also crazy for talking to yourself. Well then you go right ahead and pray, and when the abuse ramps up more and more, you can still pray with a shattered life and a life wasted to emotional and possibly physical scars.

I think that now days divorce for something like abuse or adultery is okay. If you don't believe in divorce then the best thing for your marriage is church and counseling.
