Unlike most opinions that religion is the *cause* of war, religion is usually only used by leaders to *gain support* for a war that they have already decided to engage in for reasons completely devoid of religion.

There are, of course, some exceptions - but very few.

what kind of god backs up death and destruction??? it is mankinds way of justifying what they do & make them feel like they are doing the right thing. this happens during all wars.
