Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.

There are two types of faith:
1. our own faith
2. the faith OF Christ
Our own faith is belief, it is a work in and of ourselves and it goes hand in hand with patience:
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 1 Thessalonians 1:3.
The second type of faith, the faith OF (not in), Christ is the most important and that is substanance faith, the faith that counts, since Christ did it all, may all the glory be His!
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith OF Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. - Galatians 2:16 kjv.

Faith to me is believing and following God even if I can't see Him. Faith is knowing that if I follow God's will for my life, even if it seems hard at times, it is all for the glory of God, and he cares about me.

Faith is believing something. When i believe something in my heart, i know it is so. I know JESUS exists, i have seen JESUS and i have talked with JESUS . .. there's no doubt in my mind. But others have not seen JESUS and some deny he exists . .. therefore we call this a "fatih" . .. but to me it is a reality, to them it is my "belief" . .. some others have other beliefs, for various reasons, often cultural . .. those who are of JESUS usually will tell you of personal experiences which moved them to this confession . .. THE HOLY SPIRIT . ..
Faith is a belief . .. in as much as i believe the sky is blue, i believe the bible is TRUE . .. in as much as i believe a tree is green, i believe the LORD i have seen . .. in as much as i believe the sun is in the sky, i believe i shall never die. . .
-LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.
