Nobody actually believes in the Theory of Evolution, it is what it is ....a Theory. The same that the Creation is based on interpretation of the scriptures, because while is said He created in six days, in other parts of scriptures it is said that one day for God is as a thousand or more years for men and so on.
This bring then the need for interpretation, so as Christians they could theorize that evolution occurred but they also understand it as an act of God.
The same could be said about the Big Bang because it is said the Earth was void and empty, which defines pure empty matter, and God said Let there be light, so as from the Atoms is created energy, by opposition, Energy from God applied to the empty matter could have created Atoms.
Well it is just my concept !
The promise does not say anything against evolution. The problem is with those who consider an evolutive schema without any superior intervention.

The theory of evolution pretty much knocks the bottom out of the entire theology of "salvation." If human beings evolved, then the legend of Adam and Eve is just that - a legend; and therefore there is no "Original Sin," and therefore there is no need for vicarious atonement through the sacrifice of Christ.
Of course, most "religious" people have not thought the matter through thus far; they simply scream "I ain't come from no monkey" (their imbecile conception of evolution theory) because they've been trained to do so. It's sheer kneejerk bigotry that prevents the ignorant "Christian" peasant from learning the first elements of the concept he feels duty-bound to reject out of hand.

They can be. There's no requirement that one understand the process by which biological life became what it is today in order to be saved. Salvation is through Christ the Redeemer who died for the sins of all, Jews and Gentiles alike. The theory of evolution is irrelevant to that.

The theory, although greatly debated in some Christian circles is merely an area of debate and has nothing to do woth the salvation of the individual. Too many people think we all think alike and are uneducated (which says more about them than Christians) Subjects such as this or young earth old earth are merely debates and something to debate but it has nothing to do with Christ's love for us or His plans for us.

Well, if they say they are a Christian, but they say they believe in evolution, they are pretty much calling God a liar.
Now although lying is a sin, Jesus has paid the price for their sin. However, if you think about it logically....
1. If we are just animals, then there's no such thing as sin.
2. If there's no such thing as sin, then Christ died in vain.
3. If Christ died in vain, then their faith is also in vain.
4. If their faith is in vain, then they are not saved.

I don't think Creation is really an essential part of theology. It does nothing to save you. Also for instance Noah and the Ark does nothing to save us. Only through Christ can we find salvation. A story about creation or a global flood doesn't really matter when it comes to redemption from sins.

Yes, the last time I read my Bible it did not say, "Believe in creationism and you will be saved." I believe evolution and Christianity are completely compatible.

Well, in my point of view, by believing in Evolution they are now half-way saved.
