I read the Unberable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera recentely which in part talks about a humans arbitary decisions. He ponders what it would have been like if we took a different path. He does not equate it with regret since he says since we have nothing to compare it to i.e. another life than we cannot know if we took the right decision or not.. hence the title of the book .. The Unberable Lightness of Being.. well thats part of the reason anyway as i have understood it. Since I put the book down it has bothered me somewhat. Its true in some sense i guess because you could just as easily have decided otherwise i.e. for example what to eat for dinner etc... which could have lead to greater consequences than anticipated ... However I think that my decisions are a product of my personality the different spetrums it presents ... yet if i break away from that and become what I WANT to be WHAT I WISH to be then my decisions have been a lot sharper and so-called better... Its such a difficult question.. since decision making is so complex i could go on for ages and probably come up with alternate answers maybe (isnt that ironic ?..) .. thanks for the question it got me thinking :) :)

Choice is difficult (1) when you are not sure which one is the best and/or (2) when you care about the result.

If you want to choose the best choice, are you judging the chooser's action? If you care about the result, are you afraid if the result turns bad? These two questions can be answered only by you, (One Love or generalized "you") my advise is test doing action without choosing the next move. It can be fun, unless you are repeating your "pattern" of actions. (If you started acting according to the patterns, then hey, you can study your own pattern! You'll learn something anyway!!!)
I love you too~

Because the " next move " is generally new / unknown territory. Whereas, staying where you're at is familiar territory.

More comfortable (easier) to be in familiar or unfamiliar territory ?

Making the choice to move forward to the ' next move ' is challenging, at times difficult, uncomfortable. . .yet necessary.

The " next move " takes courage, faith and work. . . Aspects as those are generally " difficult " .

A phrase that I remember when moving through challenging events in life . . . " I'm not afraid of the storms for I'm learning to steer my ship ". That phrase reminds me that...yes, it might be challenging, it's not always easy or fun. . . yet I'm doing it.

It's difficult for a couple of reasons: 1.) we are afraid that we'll make the "wrong" choice, and 2.) we get used to where we are (even if it is an unpleasant place).

For me it's not difficult to choose.

The next thing to do or the next reaction to give is almost automatic when the timing is right.

The first word that came to my mind when I saw your question is.....Kairos.

It's not too difficult for me. I can make decisions (usually the right ones) with little to no hesitation and over analyzing.

Making choices from my spirit instead of my ego helps me. I ask for guidance then I wait for my answer. It comes in many different ways, but usually in my body somehow. I know now when I act from love, there are no wrong actions

wait until it becomes clear. Stillness speaks.

Edit: and on a brighter note....I like to chose my next move. It's like a kid-in-a-candy store type of thing...

Back to stillness....

hehe...still..
