If the Egyptians were black and he was mistaken to be one of them than how is he not black? The persian army conquered Egypt after Moses was long gone. Before Egypt was overthrown the people were all Nubians.

When you can show me a white Egyptian than maybe I will believe Moses was white. Until then you who say he was are talking nonsense.

Contrary to what some may say it has been scientifically proven that the Egyptians were black. They were called Nubians. They were pushed south to Sudan by the Persian Army (Iran) about 2300 hundred years ago. And contrary to what some may believe being a Jew is a religion not a race. The descendents of Esau are the Northern Jews of Iraq. The descendents of Jacob are the Southern Jews of Ethiopia. Read Genesis for your self and it clearly states this fact. The modern day Jerusalem was settled in 1949 by the US and British government in an attempt to make future generations believe the Jews of the Bible was all white. The Jews you see on TV like Bill Mayer and others are of European descent. The 2 governments literally overthrew the Jews of the region on Middle Eastern and African Descent and created a territory for these Euro Jews. Do thorough research and you will find out the area was founded in 1949.

Egyptians were not all black. Much of the upper Kingdom, bordering and at times containing Nubia to the south, were black, but Lower Egypt and the older part of the Kingdom were neither black nor Arab. In any case, Moses was neither Egyptian nor Nubian, but ethnic Hebrew, from the Leviite tribe, if I remember correctly. He wouldn't have resembled Charlton Heston, of course, although that movie still kicks some major a**. Old movies always kick a**!

The premise of your question is wrong on several levels.

1) There is no evidence that Egyptians were black.

2) There is no reason or evidence that anybody CARES if Moses was "white".

This is a canard to try to paint Christians as bigots, and to split black Christians from white Christians.

The important thing is that the Israelites were delivered from over 430 years of captivity. It is the early history of God's move which led to Jesus being coming to Earth and dying for our sins and salvation.

The Egyptians were not black, they were (and still are) middle eastern. A very tanned white person can look like a middle eastern person. You're knowledge of history is skewed by your personal opinions I think.

I dunno about Moses but Jesus was definitely white... I mean in Passion of the Christ every character was white AND they were speaking a different language... and if you're going to go through the trouble of making a whole cast learn a new language they may as well LOOK as much like the characters they're portraying as possible, right?

Moses was a Hebrew, or Jewish. They were dark no doubt, but not white or black.
Egyptians are not as dark as sub-Saharan Africans. He could have passed for one of them. Have you seen the Israelis? Many of them are dark.
