its the same size as an .45 bullet. if u do know what it is, is it safe to shoot in a .45?

Just the bullet, or is this an entire cartridge?

If it's just the bullet, it could be anything similar to a .45, (454 Casull, etc) probably made by either Federal Arms or Freedom Arms.

If it's an entire cartridge, I have no idea what it is, and I agree with the first answer. Don't load it into a firearm unless you know what it is for.

BOTTOM LINE: If you aren't sure to don't chamber it and "hope" for the best.

It might be a .45 round. FA 33 might stand for Federal Arms w/33 being the year of manufacture.

A gunsmith will know for sure.

If you are referring to a loaded cartridge, Frankford Arsenal, 1933 manufacture. Don't shoot it, some one might want it as a collectible item.
