When did the Power Rangers first receive a decrease in viewers?

At the beginning of Power Rangers Zeo, change of characters in Power Rangers Turbo, or after Power Rangers in space.

I first learned of the problem with Power Rangers when Power Rangers Turbo came on, no one wanted to see a little kid as a Power Ranger. That was in 1997. but when Space came on, it started to pick up a little, but then there's that kid again in one episode.

I have been a huge fan of Power Rangers since the begining, so I have good knowledge about this subject. A lot of people would say that Zeo was the start of the downfall, but that isn't true. Zeo was just as popular as the first three seasons.

Any true fan will tell you that Turbo was the downfall of the Power Rangers. It had sub-par acting and the veteran rangers were getting tiresome to watch (except Adam). Also, Justin (kid blue ranger), was not well accepted by fans.

Power Rangers in Space? Ha, that is the season that saved Power Rangers. The show was going to be cancelled after Turbo, but they were given one more chance to prove themselves. In Space turned out to be a huge hit and brought a lot of old fans back to the couch on Saturday mornings.

I think it occured during Power rangers Turbo where the 4 Older rangers were replaced by new ones. Passing the Torch is the title of that episode.

It was about 2002 or so when their viewers decreased.. my nephew used to love them, I liked them too...
