yes it is. but not Christians.

Here is a portion of this book written by I think a priest who witnessed exorcisms this page, just reading it really creeped me out!!!

http://www.creationism.org/csshs/v16n3p25.htm

here' an excerpt:
There are, of course, multitudes of people who are subject to Satan and his hosts without showing any signs of possession. One of them, a secular humanist psychiatrist frankly skeptical about anything supernatural, insisted upon being present at one of the exorcisms described in the book. He was deeply shaken when the evil spirit suddenly lashed out at him, "We go. But we take him [the doctor].... We already have his soul. We claim him. He is ours. And you cannot do anything about that. We already have him. He is ours. We needn't fight for him" (p.246).

Ask your self what you saw. I know that there are demons, they are not what the TV shows them being. Notice that all different kinds of addictions drugs/alcohol/ even homosexuality all carries the same trait, a look with the person. They are possessed by spirits. They are out there just like there are angels of the Lord. It is 100% true, there are demons. Children see things sometimes that causes them such fear, it isn't the monster in the closet.
You ever been alone and feel a scary feeling like someone is watching you...well they are. Not to get freaked out about, the Lord has given us the power over them, you just have to know who you are in Christ.
But yes believe it. They are very real, and to deny them exsisting would be wrong.

No. The demon-possessed in the bible were the mentally ill and epileptic. Remember there is not a single reliable case of demon possession that can not be medically explained.

Ask your self this. Why do only people who believe get possessed or see it happen to somebody else?

Yes it is quite true. In fact it is a LOT more common than people realize. People can also be 'possessed" by a wide range of 'astral parasites' and 'larvae" as well, as the spirits of the dead. Some of the things that leave you open to possession are: drinking and taking drugs, fooling with ouija boards, and GENERAL ANAESTHETIC.

Yes, it is true. The Bible even talks about people being demon possessed. Also alot of people think scripture stopped 2000 years ago and it not true today. What was true then is true now.

No, it is not true, because demons do not exist.

People may want to be possessed, so they act like it to put on a show for religious purposes.

Don't be duped by such stupidity.

The same goes for "speaking in tongues."

Well, people can certainly believe they are possessed by demons...but frankly, I've never seen a demon, just a person acting strangely.

Of course not. These are just ancient superstitions.

Although many people believe it, and many have died because instead of seeking medical help for various problems it was thought to be demonic possession.

It's just another way in which religion opposes science and takes lives.

Yes it's true. Full possession is rare though.

Father Amorth, the Vatican Exorcist, has a book out called An Exorcist Tells His Story. It's not a thriller, it's a very nuts and bolts approach to exorcism. It tells it like it is.
