that no one really knows whats going on? We rationalize, judge, and question. The more we seek for answers the more questions we have. It's like having two mirrors face each other, the further you gaze into it the further you go. You will never find an end.

This is true, but it is what is learned in the journey itself that is the true measure of what makes the individual -- not the destination that is being sought.

We assume the simplest possible working explanation until a better or different one is shown to work in a fashion more closely resembling reality. Somehow, supernatural beings frolicking in the heavens looking over our shoulders to judge us doesn't seem to fit the simplest possible explanation.
