evolution is not goal directed.
A lot of gods already died out, or do you know many worshippers of anubis around those days.
Though the christian god changed a lot between the old and new testament, got much more mellow, I hope s/he is going to mellow down more, but that's all determined how the environment for god will change.

No. Personally, I believe there is no such thing as God. God is an invention that makes us feel less lost and alone and prevents us from taking responsibility for our actions.
