Well there's this show I want to watch but its like 2 in the morning so i can't see it, so i thought that maybe I could record it while I sleep? can i do that? if yes how? I have direct TV ...thanks to those who help!

You can record it using the old-school way: VCR
or you may want to use TiVo.
Me? I just use my VCR and program it to tape the stuff I want to watch.

Is your VCR set up to tape the channels from your Direct TV box? If so, all you need to do is tune to the channel you want to record and leave the box on. Set up your VCR to tape at the appropriate time. The TV should be turned off.

question is do you have a dvr if so then keep scrolling on ur browse till you see the sho and hit record and creat a timer if not u need to get a recorder and set it up wich i wont be able to help cuz i got dvr
