We need a standard answer along the lines of "Wishing won't make it happen. Hard work, talent and an agent might."

Count me in!

However, I don't find them nearly as annoying as the 14-year-old girls who want to find out where to audition to become a famous actress. :-)

I've been a YA'er for only about a month, and I really think each area should have a FAQ listing. Here in the Performing Arts area, questions could include how to become an actor, how to conquer stage fright, how to get on the damned Disney Channel, why some people DON'T like High School Musical, how to pick a good audition song, how to choose whether to become an actor or a nuclear physicist, how to sing louder, how to find an agent, and how to play a damned F chord on the guitar.

:-)

Yes, actually ALL questions that read "how do I become famous" are tiring.....your idea of a standard answer is very good!

Yes, very tired. You answer the question and the following week they will post another one exactly the same. Nice answer, it's the best one so far.
