To everyone calling her symptom an ulcer, you've obviously never had a real one. They are more than a light pain. They include seering pain, constant and a number of other problems that stand out pretty obviously.
I agree, it could be the start of a lactose intolerance or just might be something in your diet that isn't agreeing with you. Stress affects digestion sometimes and could be involved too, though not to the extreme point of ulceration. Try changing diet slightly and if it gets any worse see a doctor.

One thing it could be is an ulcer. Another possibility is a hiatial hernia. Either one can be quite dangerous if not treated. But there are many other things that could cause it, and some of them are even more dangerous than ulcers or hernia. You know many people having heart attacks think they're just experiencing gas pains?
So why are you asking *here*? You need to visit a doctor to get a proper diagnosis - and treatment.

Acid reflux may be a possible cause. You could try taking antacid tablets to see if that would help! Otherwise, I really am not sure what it might be? Sometimes if there is a lot of acid in your stomach diarrhea happens...although it might be something different? Drink plenty of liquids and if you need to be somewhere without a bathroom take Imodium to help with the diarrhea.

You your body might have an aversion to lactose (milk)
I'm lactose intolerant, and occasionally I will get the same pains.
Try laying down flat on your back for a a while, it helps me!
You should ask a doctor about those pains though.
Good luck!

Could be heartburn. If the pain subsides when you eat food or when you take an antacid or when you take a glass of milk or icecream etc., it is probably due to acid in the stomach.
If it is linked to the menses (monthly period), it is more a neuralgic pain.

well, it could be an ulcer, a pathogen, or just discomfort, try to figure out if you have too much stress in your life, if you eat healthy, and if you ate anything spoiled lately. also, seeing trained medical personell at your local hospital might help too. worst thing possible is intestinal cancer.
