It seems like i just can't have a successful healthy relationship!
I am getting so depressed. I'm in a relationship with my boyfriend right now but I don't think either of us are happy. I know i'm not. I hate feeling like i can't please him and feeling like he doesn't really want me.

Its so hard to know how much of it is real and how much of it is just in my head. I am 20 years old and never been in a relationship longer than 5 months!! =(
Also i'm saving myself for marriage so that makes it a bit tougher to keep a guy around! I'm so depressed and can't stop crying!

please help!

Well, you're better off than I am. I'm 20 as well, with one two-month relationship under my belt. I also am a virgin, and don't plan on just giving it away. I get too intense and excited when a new girl pays attention to me... I try too hard.

Just relax, be yourself, and let things happen. They tell me patience is the key, and someone will come...

Heey!!my advice to you is dont be in a hurry to get in to a relationship!!!you are just 20 years old and you still have a long way to go,I'll tell you a little psychology,What you feel after a break up is great anxiety and that you want to compensate it by finding another boyfriend where you hope to find happiness, alas this may keep you depressed, what I advice is that shift your attention for the moment to your personal life, try hanging out with your friends or engage in sports or other hobbies that may keep you occupied, one of the causes of depression is unwanted solitude, venting out your frustrations can also help relieve your feelings.Just think about this you dont need a man to make you complete, you are still a young woman and you will definitely get married in the future!=)

Don't be sad :( I know exactly how you feel...Me and my boyfriend of 2 years just broke up (again) on saturday because we both weren't happy anymore. Whatever you do, don't always worry about pleasing them or making them happy while your not. Don't feel like you should have to change yourself for anyone...please don't! Happiness for yourself is everything and you have to be patient. You are only 20 years old, your gonna eventually find someone who makes you happy! Maybe quit trying so hard for awhile and it might come a little more naturally...don't be depressed!

The best way to tell if the guy is right is if you're not putting out .. You don't want a bf that stays merely because of sex because that wil only get you so far. Continue waiting for marriage as there are guys who respect that in a woman; I am one of those people.

Sounds to me like the "men" in your life are the ones that are making you depressed!!!! Be happy with yourself and since you're only 20......think of guys as the last thing in life. It also seems to me like you're setting yourself up for failure in a relationship. Trust me you can get along without a man....if you're feeling depressed with a man you can do that just the same without a man!!!!! So....go ahead and get along with your life by yourself and become self-confident about yourself!!

sweetie your not bad at relationships! just relax and do what your heart tells you. since you are saving yourself for marriage, and if all he wants is sex then maybe hes not the one for you. its gonna take a while until you find someone who appreciates you. dont worry your time is coming! good luck,

you answered your own question...your saving your self for marriage. so i think you may need to find an older guy.. or a boy friend that can get sex some where else while he is courting you...yeah a guy that can have a relationship with you and he can get his sex somewhere else...that would make a lasting relationship/
