So who are these people that Cain would kill him for what he had done?

And where the heck did his wife come from?

Gen 4:15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Now we cannot know for sure what the mark was but GOD was maybe prtecting Cain from his other siblings lest they should take vengence for Abels death.Remember the earth was scarcely populated so man needed to first multiply and inhabit the world.

Gen 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Now the Bible also says that Adam had sons and daughters-Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

So where did Cain get his wife? probably it was one of his sisters.

When Cain murdered his brother Abel, he was sent into exile in the land of Nod, and he took one of his sisters as his wife. yes folks this is true. In order to continue the human race.

I found that shocking myself...but that's how it was. Genesis 4:13-18
