Winning Souls for Jesus. What is your best strategy?

Dreamstuff, apparently a lot of people fall for that Dark Age mentality. I believe many of them do feel like knowledge is evil and they are willfully ignorant.

redrocker, many Christians that I have seen use HFB on children, ignoring the fact that they are abusing and warping impressionable minds.

Winning souls for Jesus. Their have been so many that have pushed souls away from Christ with the use of HFB hell fire and brimstone. Our God is a God of Love. For me the best witness is to show the Love of God in everything that we do. It is not an easy thing to do but we must try each day to bring Love into a world that is full of negative fibs and unhappy unloving circumstances. The old saying that you can catch more fly's with honey than you can with salt goes along way. God and Christ want us to Love each other and for a person to preach HFB is just giving the devil a handhold on the true meaning of what being a Christian is all about. If we could just learn to love each other just think what this world would be like

All I can do is follow after the Holy Spirit leading. God gives us what we should say, or brings to mind what we should say that very hour.

All I can do is lead people to Jesus and Jesus saves their souls.

The churches need to oppose war. When they excommunicate soldiers, the wars will stop. This will show that churches have integrety, and that they can make positive changes in our world, when that happens, people will flock to the churches.

Opposing education, since the more educated a person is, the less likely they are to believe any religion is true.
