If you have been there before, Please provide any information about this park. For exam, is it well shaded? Is there restroom alone the way? I really appreciate it. I plan to go in a couple of weeks.

The Greenbelt National Park has many miles of trails. It is forested, so there will be shade. Like all National Parks, there are not restrooms along the way - they are in central locations.

Greenbelt National Park is reporting a significant tick problem currently. Make sure you bring long pants, socks to tuck them into, and insect repellent with DEET.

Greenbelt park is a small park that is bordered on 3 sides by developments and the Baltimore Washington Parkway which is a main artery highway.. The park is about a mile and a half long and about a mile wide. It has a paved driveway that is circular. There are picnic areas, an RV park, a ball filed and several parking lots. Its is somewhat hilly.

I have ridden my bike there several times but never hiked. Its not really a good place to hike in my opinion because its so small and its heavily wooded so you get no scenery. But you do get a lot of shade.
