I used to wear a mood-ring CTR-ring, but it was very cheap, so eventually the chemicals in the mood ring made my finger turn green, so I stopped wearing it when I was 12. The green color took a couple days to go away.

No I don't have a CTR ring, but I do have a ring for Time and Eternity from when I was sealed to my husband in the temple. I am going to be 35 on 7/20 and my husband is 33. I see plenty of CTR rings in my ward and believe me I live in a big retirement area so we don't have many young people. My husbands mom wears one and she is 76 (ish).

I wore one on my ring finger, a really pretty filigree one made for adults. The green ones you get at distribution are for kids but there are lots for adults too and Deseret Book, etc.
I figured I might be 38 but I still need to choose the right. I only stopped wearing the ring when I chose the right man and got married (in the London Temple) and needed the finger for my wedding ring.

I'm 26 and I've had my current CTR ring for 6-7 years. It's a cool one that has 6 different languages. If you go to a deseret book or their website you can get nice ones that are for adults.

When I was in high school, a lot of my mormon friends wore them, as did one protestant friend (but that's another story for another day...). A couple of adults I worked with did, too, although theirs tended to be heavier, almost like a class ring.
Is there something that happens in the LDS church around age 7-8 that would cause the ring to be given as a gift? Some sort of confirmation? Maybe that's why they would be made for kids that age.

They were originally intended for kids of baptismal age to remind them to Choose the Right. But it caught on with older people and now it's very popular. My cousin says it also stands for "Christ the Redeemer". My daughter went through my jewelry box a few weeks ago and lost my ctr ring for me. Fortunately, she didn't touch my wedding rings...they are antique.

I am a mormon, am 26 and I still wear my CTR ring. My brother is 28 and he has one. My other siblings 24, 20, and 19 wear their CTR rings also.

I don't wear one. But I have one in a little jewelry box that plays "I Could Have Danced All Night" from "My Fair Lady." I think it is from 1977 or around there, when they were still sort of a yellow-green color. It doesn't fit. I'm 38. Actually, I don't wear any rings.

I wore one of those cheap ones until it fell off once. Literally the metal wore down, until it just fell off. I think that it's really cool to wear one, but I rarely ware rings or bracelets at any time. I think it's cool that you wear one.

I used to but it broke, so I don't anymore. It was a great missionary tool though because people would ask me what it stood for, when I would tell them, most people liked that and liked that we teach our kids to Choose the Right . It at least opened up the door for conversation about the church.
I am 29
