Please only for those who have received transfers from Europe into their bank accounts in America continent.

Someone in Europe has to trasfer money to my bank account in Peru. He asked for the IBAN code, but my bank told me to give him their SWIFT code. Will that work?

IBAN (or International Bank Account Number) is used in Europe to identify a specific bank account. It isn't yet available in the Americas.

SWIFT is used for international bank transfers and will work for a bank transfer from Europe to Peru. Your bank should supply you with all the details needed to accept a transfer from Europe
