Who would you like to see as the next president?

I would like to see a Replublican President that believes in States Rights and have a Democratic Governor who can run the state right.

Edit: Actually, I just liked the way that sounded. Politics bore me anymore. Too much rhetoric and not enough proactive reasoning. As long as we don't have a dictator, I can enjoy the freedoms, the founding fathers have set up for us by giving us the "checks and balance" system.

Fred Thompson or Mike Huckabee. I haven't seen any answers from the leading Democrats as to how they would make things better or begin solving the problems. I like what I hear from Thompson and Huckabee.

However, I have lived long enough to know that no president will make a difference. The desire of the two party system to maintain itself in office will continue to stagnate progress or change.

Pastor John

Pastor

Actually, I would like to see neither party in office. I have come to believe that even if they start out with the best of intentions, even the most altruistic of politicians are eventually corrupted into my worst idea of a politician, a person who does nothing but mouth what they think the people want to hear, with no intention of backing the mouthing up, and who also has no connection with real life.

From what I've seen so far I like Romney and would consider Thompson. I wouldn't support either of the leading dem candidates due to their stand on abortion.

Neither. But if it has to be either or, the Republicans have screwed up this too much, so I guess the Dems have to get their chance to screw it up.

I used to call myself a conservative but this last nut has taken us way too far to the right. Time for a Democrat

I am a republican so....of course I lean heavily to the right.

I just want an honest man.....who believes in the sanctity of life (pro-life)

I'm usually not a fan of republicans, but I really like Ron Paul because he's a constitutionalist... yay freedom!
