In Revelations 19:10, 11 we read, "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."

Jesus is the essence of FAITH. He is the only One who is Faithful. In Mark 4:40 the Bible states, "And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?"

In Matthew 17:20 we read, "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

Notice that God says, "If ye had faith...." suggesting that unsaved man has no faith, ie., no Christ.

Now go to Romans 10:17 where we read, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Replace the word "faith" with Christ or Jesus and see what you get?

Christ comes by hearing the word of God if God has chosen to save a person (Ephesians 1:3-5). Only God can open our spiritual "ears to hear" because man is spiritually DEAD (Ephesians 2:1-3) in sins and trespasses.

Now go to Hebrews 11 starting in verse 4 and everywhere you see the word "faith" insert Christ there... Did you ever see this before?

You can go through the entire book of Romans and wherever you see the word "faith" insert Christ or Jesus there and see what you get.

Dear Erynne--I am sorry if I offended you or anyone else... I think you will see the question if you read my post. My intent was to show how magnificent God is and how He has hidden truth in the Bible.

And we die and are in the presence of the Lord and have inherited the kingdom, the words that we will hear will be "you have done well My good and faithful servant". We too are faithful if we choose to be. And yes and no to your last question. You are saved if you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. Because we are humans, there are circumstances and situations where we fail to trust and have faith that it will all be alright at the end. But that would not mean that we are not saved. We are HUMANS!!!! Humans fail all the time.

Were you just really wanting to type that out so people would see how much you know about the Bible? This is called "Yahoo Answers," which means you're supposed to ask a question so people can answer it.
