I'm one if Jehovah's Witnesses and the bible speaks of earthly paradise, so yes it was his original purpose. Are you a witness too?

Not in its present state. No. Conditions here are becoming unlivable for many people. And getting worse. But..."(Isaiah 65:17) For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. (Isaiah 66:22) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed (children) and your name remain".

This is God's promise to us. This world in its failing economy, corrupt government structures, wars, worsening pestilence, epidemic diseases, death, and growing hatred for good will pass away, soon enough for a better world. As was intended.

God bless

Yes. "A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite." Eccl. 1:4

"He has founded the earth upon its established places;
It will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever." Ps. 104:5

“The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” Ps. 37:29

God doesn't really let me in on His reasons, honestly. I mean, He's said so many different things to different peoples at different times throughout history, sometimes I suspect He's just telling us whatever He thinks we need to know at that particular moment in time. So asking what His original purpose was... hon, if anyone here can read the mind of God, let's just say I'll be very impressed.

Educated guess, though, says that if the Earth was intended to last forever, God probably would have passed on inventing entropy, dontcha think? I'm just saying.

No. The earth will end when the sun burns the last of the hydrogen in its core and goes red giant. But that won't happen for about five billion years, so h. sapiens has lots of opportunity to get into trouble -- or build a better civilization. As for god's purpose, that assumes that there is such a thing -- a fallacy.

No.

The God's original purpose was to unify every single being that inhabits this earth under one Government, Education system, Banking system, and Faith.

As we can see...his plan has not taken affect. So in order for all of this to be made right including "Mother Earth" brought back to her original frequencies..there is indeed a need for a comeback.

yes, why would Jehovah God destroy something that he made. looking forward living forever on a paradise earth. people think that when we die we go to heaven. why would Jehovah put us on earth, to grow old, get sick and die just to go back to heaven. Jehovah sent his son to earth for us, to die so that we can live forever, what Adam and Eve lost. looking forward to seeing our dead love ones again. Jehovah did not destroy the earth, in Noah's day when he made the flood so why would he destroy it now. people keep saying that Jehovah God will destroy the earth and we will all go to heaven. why does the bible say the meek shall live forever on a paradise earth and worship Jehovah God

No. Astrophysics might be a little over your head, but the gist of it is....in the distant future our sun will finish consuming its fuel, die, and in doing so will swell to that of a red giant, likely consuming Mercury, Venus and Earth.
