How much money should I bring if I want to go shopping and I mean SHOPPING in the Big Apple. I dont need any money for a hotel just shopping and maybe transportation.

to ride the bus or train is $2 one way (transfers are good up to 2 hours). Best bet is for you to get a fun pass, which is $7 with unlimited rides for 24 hours.
now as for how much shopping money you will need, it depends what are you planning to buy. about $2,000 (and you can go shopping in either macy's, h&m, the gap, banana republic old navy or century 21), about $5000 if you are shopping in gucci, lord and taylors, etc.

Well it depends what part of New York your staying in and how long you plan to stay there. If your staying in Manhatten in the Mid Town area then your going to need a lot of money, if your staying in that are to shop say for about 3 days i would bring about $20,000 maybe even more. Now if you go to Delancey Street then you should bring maybe about $7,000

That's just for shopping. I am assuming of course you will be going to Prada, Gucci, etc. There are plenty of second-rate stores which are much cheaper but not nearly as chic.
