hey, At my study today i found out what an apostate was. my study told me that even though what they are doing is wrong, that we shouldnt go on the internet trolling to fight them. he said that all good people would come in contact with jehovah, so we dont need to worry about them spreading their lies. He also said that they will all die in the great day of jehovah. so, my question is, why are we fighting them on yahoo if they will all die if they dont repent anyway?
PS: im just a bible learner, not a jehovah witness yet.

I can't talk for the others but I am not here to fight.

I want to answer questions to the best of my ability.

And yes I get frustrated at the mean comments about a harmless group of Witnesses trying to help others but I keep trying to educate the public to our real reason we go door to door.

An apostate is someone who knows what God wants him to do and talks bad about God and refuses to obey God.

Not only that he tries to get all the others to turn against God.

Satan started that in the garden of Eden and he condemned us all to death because of his lies.

God sent Jesus to fix the problem. Now we really need to thank God. But the apostates still won't cut God any slack. The keep putting Him down....and all those that worship Him.

So we stay away from them. A little leaven ferments the whole lump
One rotten apple spoils the whole bunch.
One rotten potato makes the rest rot.

If a clean child jumps in a mud puddle the puddle doesn't become clean..the child gets dirty.

One bad apostate can ruin the faith of many meek Christians.

s234fh....He is right...He is so right...

The fact that you dismissed him as evil almost..That is not Christian..Jesus would never do that..Think for your self..What does your heart tell you? What does your mind tell you when it is not influenced by JW's? What does the REAL Bible say..I suggest highly that you get another Bible..If what they have is truth..Then, any Bible would be able to support it..

Do you think that Jehovah would let the Bible be in the entire world and not be corrected until the JW's decided to correct it in the 60's, I believe..Their Bible is so different that all other Bibles..
I grew up reading the JW's Bible..I thought all Bibles were the same..Then, as an adult with questions, and a mind of my own..I bought another Bible..and it was truly the most amazing experience of my life..It was as though I was reading the Bible for the very first time..I was blown away..and that is what made me start my research..

I would also like to add..You should pray to Jehovah to help you know which way to go..You pray day and night, sincerely pray ..let him know that you want to worship him in the right way..to please let you know if you should continue with this religion...Pray earnestly..sincere prayers..day and night..and see where God lead you...Sometimes , God answers our prayers and we don't even see where he is doing that..you have to learn to listen to God ..Pray...That is the best advise I can give you..
Also, say a prayer that tells God, that you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour..that you believe..Tell God that you want to accept Christ into your life the right way..
(only of course if this is what you believe)..but pray my friend.

theBerean...He is right..The Bible has a very simple message and it doesn't take the WatchTower and the men that run the organization to understand it..That is why God gave us the Bible..

So, what is an apostate then, according to Jehovah's Witnesses? Anyone who disagrees with them and has left the organisation and isn't too intimidated by their shunning tactics to keep their mouths shut?

And what's this assumption that they are spreading lies?

And if, as they claim, they will all die then you've just answered your own question - you shouldn't be on this site.

But what if they're wrong? What if they are not spreading lies? What if they are genuinely trying to reach out in Christian love to help others from being deceived?

I was brought up from birth into a Jehovah's Witness family but left that organisation after 1975 came and went without the promised "end to this wicked system of things" at Armageddon. My parents believed they would still be alive when this happened - they died disappointed. The reason so called "apostates" try to counter the teachings of the organisation is because they care for you and they want everyone to realise the true Gospel message - which is one of love and forgiveness. Check out your Bible, my friend, and do not rely on the publications of this organisation.

Do you honestly believe that God choose this special group of people that make up 1 percent of the population to spread the "truth"? This religion has DIRECTLY claimed in the past to be a prophet of God yet EVERY prediction EVER made has failed ( they will tell you they never claimed this but just do research and look at past Watchtowers and it clearly says this). Did you know their Bible is grossly mistranslated just to fit their teachings...it was translated by a few men which all but one had NO teachings in Hebrew and the one who did only had a year or two and in court documents when questioned HE couldnt even translate one thing from Hebrew. I am a former JW and I cant even describe what its been like, to live your whole life in fear of the "end times" and worrying your not doing enough to please God is terrible. NO ONE has the right to tell me if Im good enough for God and Jesus to forgive me except God. God NEVER said you had to be apart of a group called Jehovahs Witnesses to be saved. Did you know they believe Jesus is Micheal the Archangel as well? They live and breathe by everything that the Watchtower society tells them...Read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz, he is a former elder in the JW who worked at the headquarters and his book will shock you about the way things are ran there and how they come up with there new "rules" and "new lights" . Also as far as the end of times do you really believe that a loving and just God is going to kill BILLIONS of people and that the small group of JW is going to be able to then bury EVERYONE that died and rebuild a new earth?? because that is what they think will happen . Im so happy to be out of that religion.

truly we are doing so genuine now. We have been having economic subject concerns and so became yet another family individuals so we desperate we'd lease their upstairs from them for no less than the iciness. it relatively is an encouraging component to circulate by way of. they are an older couple of their 50s and we are in our 20s with a new child. we are gaining knowledge of lots approximately new child elevating from them besides as being inspired by ability of their zeal regardless of each and every thing those years. They love having a infant interior the abode lower back and are with any luck looking us spiritually encouraging to. on account that we share a kitchen those chores now take much less time. we've greater human beings to debate non secular issues with on a daily foundation. heavily, different than for truly much less privateness (we've our very own bathing room upstairs and you will somewhat hear something from upstairs downstairs) i will't think of of a draw back. ok, my non-witness mothers and dads are embarrassed, yet until i circulate to regulation college that is going to be the case in any case. So you are not a Jehovahs Witness yet?

Here is something you might want to think about.

"...the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you stand,by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain,
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,..."-- 1Cor 15: 1-4

"...And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name (than Jesus) under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."---Acts 4:12 (insert added)

"For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above EVERY name,
so that at the name of JESUS ever knee will bow, of those who are in heaven an on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father".---Phil 2:9-11

...REPENT, and each of you be baptized in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the forgivness of your sins; and you WILL receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."---Acts 2:38 (caps added)

"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord (Yahweh),
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (bodily), you will be saved."---Rom 10-9 (inserts added)

My friend,

The above is the GOSPEL. ...PERIOD
If you are trusting in anything else, or some organazaton for Salvation, or for some so-called promise of escaping "Armageddon, then you are trusting in the wrong thing. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ ALONE.
Not in any orginazation.

God is probably calling you in His grace.
No one knows how long that call will last. This might be the LAST time.

Repent. And turn to Him ALONE.

Get a KJV
If you really want to study:
Interlinears (Greek,Hebrew,and Aramaic) with a strong's concordance.
Don't believe what you are told, read and study the bible yourself.

Asking a Jehovah's Witness what an apostate is, is like asking Satan how to follow Christ....Witnesses label anyone who questions their doctrines "apostate".....

If you decide to get baptized and then question things that you find out about the Jehovah's Witnesses, they will label you Apostate as well....it doesn't matter if you are heartfelt in your questioning...take your Decision as to whether to continue to study with these people to God.

Is it any worse from door knocking?

Yahoo Answers is much less intrusive than showing up at people's houses uninvited.

The Watchtower just wants to control what information you get. The truth about their organization is all on the internet. I'm surprised the Watchtower soceity hasn't banned the usage of the Internet for JW yet.

Not a Jehovah's Witness yet, huh? Then you still have a chance to get away from that cult. Save yourself before you become completely brain-washed and unable to escape. Ask yourself, would a loving God expect you to do the things these people are asking of you? Would an all-powerful God even need your help or the help of these pathetic creatures who are tying to enslave you to these bogus beliefs? Save yourself before it is too late.
