Since the name" Selim Aydın" is a common one , it would be very difficult to find him by on line search.
I think the best way for you to locate your friend is to get in touch with the university and try to get his contact information at that time.
If he is not there anymore, that would be a good starting point and we will do our best try to find him with you..
