Some do, some don't. I had a beautiful roomie in college who never wen't on any dates because she didn't think she was pretty...but I've known pretty girls who are a bit too vain b/c they know how pretty they are.
I think the prettiest girls are the ones with the self confidance to act pretty, but the humility to not show it.

Well for girls like me..we think we're okay..but not THE best there is...I want to be a model when I grow up (need to be slightly taller) and it would help if I knew what epople thought of me...
but I can't just go up to any old guy and say "do you think Im pretty" they're think I just be saying it to flirt???

pretty girls aren't always satisfied with their looks. and easily threaten by other girls that are 'prettier then them or just about. I've noticed that not all girls wear make up for guys but to not feel any less prettier than other girls. in other words ( for a quick boost of confidence)
but there are girls that are full of it and think their hot. so i guess its a yes and no.

Alot of times a very beautiful girl looks in a mirror and thinks shes a fat cow. But sometimes pretty girls know their pretty and flaunt it. And sometimes ugly girls end up thinking thewir pretty.

Yes but some in fact a lot have a complex about it and if they are not the prettiest then they try to become prettier. If you give them a lot of attention and a lot of compliments they will think they r hot.

To some extent they know they look nice , but if they are hiding behind makeup , hair-dye , etc. , then they obviously have some self esteem issues , and might need to be reminded .

well. i think it all matters on opinion. you see, beauty(or prettiness) is seen in ones eyes. for instance, a girl could think that they are ugly and if a guy truly liked her, she would be attractive in her eyes. on the other hand, there are those stupid stuck up girls who think they are all that and are uber pretty. now that to me, is that they are ugly.

Chances are they have heard it all their lives so they know it but they have doubts about the ability to keep it and to be valued for themselves and not how they look.
