I think we ought to lock up RockytopRon right now. I don't feel like waiting for the day that "god" tells him to kill somebody.
Religious fanatics/zealots tend to scare me more than most things in this world. The fact that these people can do something, right or wrong, on the basis that god "told them to" makes me wonder what is wrong with them.
Ofcourse, look who we have in office. Bush said that god told him to smite saddam......yeah, that's my point.

anyone can answer any question- however- I am deeply in love with Jesus Christ, and if that makes me a fanatic , so be it. I was called a fundamentalist fanatic a couple of years ago by a Pastor- and you know why- I believed scripture to be truth. Even if you aren't a believer, you have to admit it is sad a Christian pastor would say that- so if you think that makes me a fanatic so what. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I will follow Him, no matter how many thumbs down I get for this answer

This is a free country. Anyone can answer a question here.
I wanted to respond to your question. This is a public forum.
I love Jesus. That probably makes me a fanatic in your eyes.
Do you feel as if anyone who is religious is a fanatic? That is my assumption.
I sense a little hostility here.
No one said, "How dare you call me names!"

I think the person entertains at least a modicum of thought that they are fanatics.

I'm fanatical about religion, and I mean that in a positive way. What way are you meaning it?

I am a religious fanatic. I love God, Jesus and his church. I would do anything God wants me to do to fulfill his will. If that makes me a fanatic so be it, I'm a fanatic.

Because religion is fascinating of its own right.
P.S.
You're going to have to do better than that, to impress anybody with your opinion. Read your own question!
