This pope's no different than any other. This isn't a new position of the church; the Catholic church has always believed in its primacy, just as most Protestants are convinced of themselves as being the only "right" way. Frankly, this is hardly newsworthy.

The catholic church has an extremely sturdy checklist of the popes from Peter by way of to the present day one, or perhaps the circumstances whilst there became no pope (interregnums). It even lists the "anti-popes", which incorporates a minimum of one saint. and dissimilar the anti-popes grew to alter into popes of their very own genuine. and that they circulate lower back to long in the previous the "fashionable dispute". Damned sturdy documentation!

Again, this is not some new thing the Pope just came up with. This is what Catholics have ALWAYS believed.

How do they explain Matthew 23/9
How do they explain Luke 11/2-4
How do the explain First Timothy chapters 3+4
The Catholic church was formed in the third century after the
death of Christ yet Jesus started his church while he was on
earth so how can they lay claim to being the first church.
And the Bible says we are to confess are sins one to another
and no where in the Bible does it say you must confess to a
priest. And who came up with the farst of praying to Mary.
Jesus told us how to pray and ask in his name and his name
wasn't Mary. And the word pope is found no where in the Bible but it does say we are to reverence no man or bow to
any man. I can't prove which church is the one Christ started
it"s name may not be on any building. It may just be in the hearts of those that believe in Jesus and do the will of his Father and they may be found in many different buildings on
any given Sunday or they may be found siting at home reading their Bibles.

I think you need to reread the new document that says nothing new: http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20070629_responsa-quaestiones_en.html
Most Christian denominations believe that each of them is the fullest version of the Church of Christ.
While the Catholic Church also believes that she is "the highest exemplar" of the mystery that is the Church of Christ.
But She does not claim that non-Catholic Churches are not truly Christian Churches. The Catholic Church teaches:
Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.
Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.
All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.
With love in Christ.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he is Satan in disguise but they are being miss-guided.
Their is no need for one person over all the Church's.

I wouldn't necessarily go that far, but it's truly sad that Catholicism ignores the plain truth of scripture.
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1Ti 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
