According to the 2001 census of Britain, about 1.5 million.
As opposed to 37 million Christians, 7.7 million atheists/agnostics and 4 million not stated.
Only 260,000 Jews, coming behind 550,000 Hindus and 330,000 Sikhs. But more than the 144,000 thousand Buddhists and 150,000 'Other'.
Total population was 52 million.
Edit:
Sorry to burst the bubble of all those who say Britain is about to become a Muslim nation. In 2001 is was a <3% muslim nation.

WAY TOO MANY!!! I saw a show on CNN about that and I think they said over 10% of the Population is Muslim. I have heard that when a group reaches 15% of a Nations popularity then they really start making a difference (good and bad).

We generally use "much" as a quantifier for things that cannot easily be counted, as in "how much rice," or "how much water." For things that can be counted, such as people, we use "many."
That aside, I am sure there are data that can be consulted as to how many Muslims there are in England. You might want to find a British census, or something.

I can't answer your question, mostly because it doesn't make any sense.
Did you mean to ask "How MANY muslems are in England?" ???
Why not just go and count them all?

their are a lot and every day there are more every day the government say 2.6 million in the UK
