Becuase it is fixed. It is like saying "Which is better....blue or hot?" Two totally different things that cannot really be compared.
Men and women are different and both have strengths/weaknesses. If I had to come up with 10 challenges, I could find 10 that all the women would win, all the men would win or 50:50.

because if the men women the TV channel gets complaints. The BBC got complaints about the winner of the apprentice because he chose the bloke over the woman.

Men wouldn't be stupid enough to produce such a show, so of course the women are going to appear to win. You can do a lot with video editing.
