Mozilla Thunderbird!!!

Love it, use it everyday. With the right extentions you can get all the same functionality of outlook (not exchange though)

Have you looked into Google Aps. or Gmail? It's a very good mail client, but I'm not sure if it has all of the office organization tools and calenders, etc, like Office.
