Ok, so I just saw a commercial for Sour Skittles. It was the one where the man was getting "milked" and the milk was sour because he was eating the sour skittles. Well, it was nasty, in my opinion. It made me not want to go buy any because now I am going to think about a man being milked. My oldest (4) looked at me and said, "Mom that's nasty!" I mean, it's gotten to where that commercials are just getting stupid. Not all of them, but you can kinda tell when they are running out of good ideas. I was just wondering how everyone else felt about it.

Thanks for your input. I do not like sour skittles myself, but my kids do. It's the point though. These commercials have gotten ridiculous. There are a few on, like the super bowl commercials, but other than that, not really. I was just wondering if anybosy else had seen it and what they thought. I am glad to know that I am not the only one out there who thinks that way.

I quite agree with you...and I can not STAND those stupid Jello -'wiggle' commericals...they really bother me, as I will change the channel.

Now adays, some commericals just get too bizarre and become tasteless...but then again, some people are into that stuff.

Do you remember the commerical a few years back with the M & Ms? I think one of the Baldwin brothers was the human in it, and the M & Ms were EATING M & M candies...something was said about them eating each other - like canobolism -and Baldwin made the comment 'That's just disgusting'......

Now I thought that was a 'weird' commerical, but was not offended. BUT apparently, some were, as a letter campain abound and it was taken off the air shortly after that.

All I can say is, to each their own.

If enough people complain, it will be pulled off the air..

I also saw that commercial last night. Although I am not big on candy (I am more of a salt & grease kind of gal), I was equally turned off.

I did however recognize the actor who was getting milked. I believe he was big on one of the soap operas in the late 70's or early 80's. Too bad for him...
