-You and I have been going out for 3 1/2 months.
-I don't know if you are ready to kiss or not.
What do you want me to do? Why won't you kiss me? How can I show you I am ready? Should I just kiss you first?

YOu should kiss me first. Guys sometimes have a hard time knowing when a girl wants to be kissed. I remeber just wanting to scream at him for not kissing me firdt but i got over it

Kiss him first. Hugging in public is one thing, but he is shy about moving too fast, and is likely wondering if you're ready to kiss. You have taken the lead in this relationship by asking him out (which is OK), so he may be just sitting back and letting you drive.
Get the first kiss out of the way and see if he'll get behind the wheel.

Are you 12? In that case, no need to rush into that.
Otherwise, some guys are just shy. Women can make the first move too. And you know that, since you are the one that had to do the asking out.

If you can't drive, you are too young to be in a relationship...What you have is puppy love...but I am the strong silent type(and way too old for you)...but sometimes I find it cool when the woman makes the first move...The guy you have may just be trying to stay a gentleman and probably doesn't want to be too forward...He'll be afraid you'll get turned off by that and find someone else...

It sounds like you are pretty young, so don't worry about the kiss. You don't want to waste it. And NEVER ask to kiss someone. It's just wierd and awkward. So relax, when the time is right, it will happen. Don't rush it.
