Thanks for the response to my previous question do atheists exist ? Over 55 returns. God yet to respond. My question is if you don't believe in anything, then why are you answering R&S questions. Surely you're opinion does not count?

I am not an atheist but I would like to say that they have EVERY right to be here asking and answering questions. Their opinions count just as much as yours. Atheists, I have found can lead very spiritual lives, quite often more spiritual than many of the religious people who roam the earth. I believe in God and I believe that God has made no mistake. The atheist experience is just as valid as any other experience. Even if they do not agree with my beliefs or yours.

Oh... my... god. Sorry but I'm fed up with this question. If I don't have a pet can I not go on the pet section either? Or if I don't have a garden I can't answer any questions on gardening?
Athiests do have beliefs. Maybe not religious ones. But they do have them. And what right do you have to say that athiests opinions don't count? Of course they do. They still have an opinion on religion. And athiests can be spiritual. Its religion AND spirituality. You don't need religion to be spiritual.
I believe that everyones opinion counts. Whether they are athiest, christian, pagan etc. No reason to leave out a group because of their beliefs.

I don't believe in the concept of celebrity but I can still answer questions on here in that category. Just because our beliefs may differ doesn't mean that they are any less valid. Surely it's the whole point of a forum like YA that we all put our own viewpoints across? Because they are atheists doesn't mean that they don't believe in anything, just not a God.

Coz they can't contribute anything decent to the science questions.
They also like to see the answers of other atheists as they take comfort in knowing people feel they same as they do and it provides confirmation that they are right.
Atheists opinions would count if they had read the Bible and could provide solid arguements for not believing it, but they can't.

Atheists believe that god does not exist and are entitled to enter this debate. Equally, atheists may not be religious but they can have a deep spirituality, which is a completely different concept to a blief in a god. My opinion is as valid as yours. I do not attack you, I simply question your belief. if you can't accept that, then perhaps you should not answer questions or indeed ask them on this section. Or are you uncertain that your faith will not stand up to scrutiny?

My opinion counts. I vote. More importantly, I voice a part of the social dialogue that is part of how culture changes.
I am a pagan and a Taoist and an atheist. Don't forget that spirituality does not equal religion. And not all spiritual philosophies involve a deity. Think outside the box.
Who told you I don't believe in anything?

it incredibly is actual achievable, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that i think of it relies upon how the guy's ideas works and how a lot exposure they have had to the different ingredient. as an occasion, it would be somewhat uncomplicated for an atheist to look Christian in the event that they grew up in a Christian ecosystem with Christian human beings. i don't comprehend if any Christians would look atheists. i think of Christians would be below keen to objective it, besides.

As yours does not either.
Thanks for bringing up another pointless point.
But to answer your question my opinion does count. I see how religion destroys this world and I am concerned.
Also when I ask about religion in the cats section they throw me out.

Don't be silly! If some theist uses this very public forum to espouse their ideas, I have the right to response! And the thing is, when I point out the stupidity of fundamentalist or creationist dogma, I don't use opinions - I use facts!

Apart from having a view AND a total entitlement to answer questions in ANY category I choose regardless of my qualifications, bearing in mind what we heard yesterday about the would-be bombers having attended religious meeting (especially those led by the "hook") I can see VERY little evidence of there being a god in whatever religion you care to mention ! ! !
