Jana Gana Mana (Bengali: জন গণ মন Jôno Gôno Mono— "The Minds of All People") is the national anthem of India. Written in Bengali, it is the first of five stanzas of a poem composed and scored by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. First sung on December 27, 1911, at the Calcutta Session of the Indian National Congress, Jana Gana Mana was officially adopted by the Constituent Assembly as the Indian national anthem in January 24,1950[1][2][3]. A formal rendition of the national anthem takes fifty two seconds. A shortened version consisting of the first and last lines (and taking about 20 seconds to play) is also staged occasionally.

I type here under the National Anthem of Indian Republic.It is customary to stand up in attention when it is sung.
Actually The Npbel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore wrote several verses and one Stanza among them was taken and adopted as the National Anthem Of India.
