I don't like to go shopping unless I really, really need something. I don't want to buy new stuff all the time; consumerism is bad for the environment, clutters up my (small) apartment, costs money... There are just a few places where I like to shop. Thrift stores are cool (although I try to avoid them, second-hand items clutter up the place too and I really have plenty of stuff), book stores are great -especially the secondhand ones (I'm a book addict, I don't care they clutter up the place, in fact just ordered a new book case). And I like ethnic stores, art fairs and the like because there I shop for presents. I buy presents not just a week before Christmas or a b-day but I will shop around when I can, keeping in mind who's got some event coming up any time from a month to several months ahead, and I often end up with unique gifts.

Never - I'm never interested in it. I only go when I absolutely have to (eg, to buy clothes) and even then, I try to minimise the time spent. For example, if I find a pair of trousers I like, I'll buy lots of them, hopefully enough to leave there and then (well, after paying anyway...)
I just find it tedious to spend hours shopping - why spend lots of time when you could do exactly the same task in 10 minutes, provided you cut out the dithering?
The less I spend doing that, the more time I can spend doing something I find fun, like reading, playing computer games, spending time here, learning and playing my guitar, etc.

I hate mall shopping. There's getting to the mall in the first place, trying to park, trying to find the right item, rude people getting in your way, unhelpful salespeople, stroller moms who have no idea other people are trying to walk, or they just stop suddenly to chat with a friend. It's like trying to walk in an airport. And my friends have to try on everything under the sun.
I've found it much easier to shop online or from a catalog. I also found that cuts down on impulse purchases just because I'm AT the store.

i hate trying on clothes. sometimes it's all right...but like prom dress shopping the sizes are constantly changing and you find one you love and suprise you can't wear a size 10 in that store like you did in the last store. or something looks cute on a manican(sp?) then you put it on and it looks horrible...it's a waste of time. I don't know how people can go around and do that all day! and when it is busy around holidays people are SO rude it is unbelievable!. I didn't need 10 pairs of underwear...but that was the only way i could get them for 3.99 each! It's ridiculous! My sister works at the mall and i have no clue how she does it!

Shopping is the devils work, it is never interesting, its a means to an end.
Why ? my life is far to interesting to worry about choice over various consumer goods, i just buy the first one i come across that does the job.
fortunately, i treat my relationships differently !
ps, i think i like Anita

I am never interested in shopping. It is the most overrated activity ever. I only go when I need something.
P.S. Oh Michael, you're making me blush!

It's not interesting if I don't have intention to buy anything. So browsing is futile, meaningless and sucks out my energy.
