who is scared of dying?

Im not affraid of death itself but I am affraid of dying in the form of torture or a dragged out, dramatic murder. It is expected death verses unexpected death. Peaceful death verses chaotic death. Id prefer expected death. Id rather not die in a roller coaster accident, car accident or random murder. I want to die, perhaps a natural death or a death I am prepared for.

There are certain exceptions. Like if I were to go to war I would pretty much be prepared to die in an unexpected manner.

I have no fear of death. Though I have never really been closely confronted with my own death yet.

I think I would prefer to die slowly of disease or old age. So I knew ahead of time and had time to say goodbye to the ones I loved.

If I died quickly, my last thoughts would be of my wife and children I think.

I believe in life after death and view death as a passing on. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and believe I will be with him or in heaven when I die. This is comforting, and it helps put my "life" in perspective. I don't believe my being here (on Earth) is my end all, be all experience. So I approach life as to live it for Jesus. I try to serve and love my family and others as best I can.

When my time is up...I hope to live in a better place of eternity.

If I had no belief, I guess I would fear death because that would be it. I would live my life for the here and now, because tomorrow may never come. I cannot imagine a life like that, like an animal hurrying to reproduce, attain shelter, then when old or weak...die. The life itself seemed meaningless in and of itself.

I think life has meaning, and we have eternal value. Our lives should be a reflection of that meaning and value, not a constant race to avoid death.

Hope this helps.

Yes and NO..... personally i am scared of dying because i am afraid that there is something i did wrong or that i hurt someone and had no chance to ask for forgiveness... No because it is coming to all of us anyways and that living in fear of it all the time is pointless...

i think i need a hug... this is confusing

Life + Death = Dead End
Grace + Law = Life + Death.
Law: "the ministration of death"
(1Cor 15:56; 2Cor3:7; Jam 1:15)

Pst: the end of the God Shew is already written;
Not to mention it's declared from the beginning:

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

I am not scared....It happens to everyone...I suppose because of the uncertainty that lies ahead, people get scared. I KNOW I am going to heaven...Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

That is pretty straightforward....if one does not believe that Jesus is the savior, they WILL NOT go to heaven.

Reading what Jesus said in John 14:6 , I have nothing to be afraid of. Nothing.

Good news everyone!

I spent some time on the Near-Death Star. It's a horrible place where I was hooked up to a simulator putting me in Florida, and all I did was sit on the porch waiting for the children to call. *sigh*

Me, but I know where I will be going. I did not think I would be scard of dying, but yes I admit it has only recently come to me that yes I will be scared. Yes I want to go home to Heaven but I do not want to die. I have wanted to on many occasions.

I think most are afraid of the "pain" before dying and then maybe if they don't know for sure where they'll go after that if they don't have any belief system.

And I am not frightened of dying. Any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it. You've gotta go sometime.

It is not death, my sweet dark lord, but the dying.
