they always do that. once our cat scared everything out of me. there was a HUGE shadow coming towards me, but then I saw it was just our cat wanted to be caressed. most animals does that cause darkness gives them a feeling of safety or another animals hunts at night to catch those animals that goes out at night.
but you could keep playing with your cat and give treats during the day.

Kittens are full of energy, thats how they are, leave it alone, maybe put t in a room with litter box, food and water, if it whines, then you might as well put some ear plugs in and let it roam happily at night. It will become more lazy in the night as it grows old. Cats are naturally lazy during the day and giddish during the night (I had 6 cats throughout my life)I know

That's what kittens do, run around like nuts at night. As your kitten grows into adulthood, then it will adapt to your lifestyle - sleeping by day, sleeping by night an running around when you're at home. I often have my cats sleeping near me whenever I'm home.
Right now I'm sitting on the couch ( it's soddingly hot and I'm trying to keep cool) and the kitten is sitting between my feet, also trying to stay cool.

Try playing with him more during the day and close to bedtime. But mostly you need to learn to accept the pet as is, not to try and make him into something he's not. If you don't LIKE kittens, why get a kitten?

Well i have two kittens and a puppy... they all want to sleep during the day and when looking at them i dont have the heart to wake them up. I have had quite a few pets in my life and they're all like that when they're small, once they're a bit older they will change. You could try putting them by something warm, like we have heated floors so that puts them to sleep.
Hope that helped?

By nature, cats are nocturnal animals. You can try to play with her as much as she will let you during the day, but both of my cats are most interactive first thing in the morning and last thing before bedtime. Plan your playtime with kitty around her schedule -- you'll never be able to completely change it.

Cats are nocturnal and kittens are notorious for this. As he gets older, he will gradually adapt to your schedule. In the meantime, schedule a long play session every night before you got to bed and tired him out as best you can.

Well during the day your cat is sleeping so at night it will be awake. So you could keep your cat awake during the day like playing with it and then at night let it sleep in your bed with you so it will fall asleep. It worked with me so maybe it will work with you!

cats are nocturnal. about an hour before you are ready to go to sleep, play with her vigorously and hopefully she will get tired out and realize that night is for quiet time.

well, that's one of those things kittens do. I'm not sure what to tell you. What I've done.. my cats sleep w/ me, and I would bring them to bed w/ me and that usually kept them there till I was asleep... then don't care what they're up to. :-)
