Ohio. Im not sure how fast ethier would respond. My boyfriends brother home is full of crack heads. These is 5 kids, under the age of 10. A few extra adults too. The adults all smoke crack. Im not too sure of where and how....If they hide it fomr the kids or not. But they recieved some money, and smoked up one grand in not even a day. The "man" of house sometimes work, payday is a crack night also. DO I call police and explain to them...And maybe they can catch them in the act. Do I call child services, and hope they show up on a day they need to.....Child services have been called on them before, and they seem not to check too much cuz they have had cases closed on them. But I totally want to remain annoymosly. (sp)....

As far as I know, you can make anonymous complaints to Child Services in any state. I don't know how effective repeated complaints would be if they have already made investigations and dropped the complaint, but I guess you can keep trying. Some areas have child advocacy groups who might be able to help you.

You can always go in and talk to a police drug officer personally, tell him when the payday crack feasts happen, and maybe he can set up a raid for that time.

Whatever, keep trying. The kids deserve it!

You can call the cops anonymously. Use a pay phone if you want to be certain, but most law enforcement offices will not make you give your name. They just want to stop the crime. The problem with child services is that they usually take more time to evaluate the situation, and often call ahead before they show up. In any case, you are right to do something. Those poor children need your help. In your place, I can honestly say I'd call the police about the drugs. Good luck!

I would call child services first, get a date on when they are going out to the house and then on that day call the cops. You can do it without giving your name with both depts. Social Services, I dont understand either. I know they have rules they have to follow but they do let alot of things go.. My heart has always went out to kids in that kind of situation. I would do it!! I think you would be a better person if you did, Cause you would be saving those children's lives..

Your concern for the children is admireable.

Given that they have been called out before shows that they didn't have enough evidence to take action. Continue to call the police with your suspicions, then let them determine if action by child services is warranted.

Good luck.

Call the police immediately... remaining anonymous is a good idea as well. They will contact Children Services for you, limiting your direct involvement is for the best.

call the police, tell them the situation. THEY will call child services, and child services will listen more and check it out more if the cops tell them. tell the cops you want to be anonymous, they can't tell on you if you do, and they don't have a reason to anyways. good luck.

BOTH! Call them both the second something happens. You can do it anonymously, and you will probably be saving the lives of those kids.

Call child servises and tell them to go on payday. It is our responsibility to take care of children who are not old enough to take care of themselves. These children need your help. Please don't let this go without attention because you could make a positive difference in those children's lives, maybe even save one of them. Good Luck!!!!!!!!
