a huge teddy bear! take her out for dinner and have someone take the teddy bear and put it over her bed .. :P
give her flowers, buy her something she rly likes... a nice top maybe, a dress, lingeries.. something to remind her of you... a watch is nice also so she can remember u every time she looks at the time :P egyptian cotton bed sheets (sooo onice), a purse, a perfume, a picture of you framed (not a cheap one), a ticket for a cruise, a ticket for a trip somewhere abroad or a surprise trip inside the country (u organise everything and tell her at dinner that u r taking her soemwhere) think of what she would like.. its ur gf :P think of somehitng special

Depends on what shes into and how long you have been together, but ones that work well are,
1)flowers,
2) first edition of her favourite book,
3)a cute teddy and chocolates,
4)spa treatment (but can be expensive),

6) A weekend away together (camping or something)
7)an ipod
8) a new phone
9)A romantic picnic (combined with one gift above)
10) Love vouchers (if you're really broke....)

You should know your girlfriend, you should know what she would like. I for one, would absolutely hate the spa. I can't imagine a worse gift. I also, think jewelry is a cop out gift... don't know what to buy a female... buy them jewelry. She'll swoon. How about planning an entire day that you all can spend together around the types of things she likes to do. I can't help you with the specifics, because I don't know her. But get up early and take her to her favorite breakfast spot, even if it is a picnic breakfast in the park.... plan the entire day around her and spend ever minute focused on her, make her special day. It doesn't get any better than that.

Get a 79 cent composition notebook. Write as much as you can and express your feelings toward her and how much you truly love her and how you would be lost without her. It says more than what money can buy. What's nice about this idea is that it shows you set aside time for her when you could have been doing something else. It's also cheap. I mean 79 cents :)

Okay so how about this....Be simple, plan ahead for a romantic dinner for 2 at your favorite resturant. After PLANNING, Go to Bath & Body Works (or your local hot spot where all the girls shop), and with the assistance of a clerk, pick her out one of those nice little gift baskets full of all types of goodies (girlies dig the smell goods). Not to mention, it'll be your chance to get her something she likes but at the same time, it makes you crazy (In a good way of course)!!! Get a card declaring your undying desire to be with her and top it off with a night that both of you will remember. :) Good Luck!!!

Girls like pedicure, manicure, etc. The day spa is nice, but what if you and her went to an overnight spa retreat together. Massages & a romantic dinner together would be a very nice gift not only for her, but you as well.

You could do any one (or a combination) of the following:
fix her a nice dinner
buy her concert tickets
buy her a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure
go shopping with her - and let her know that you'll buy her and outfit
wash her car
if you've been dating for a while, collect a bunch of pix of the two of you and put them in an album

Well it would be helpfull if you added a couple of her likes and hobbies because that is usually where people get their ideas. Like, if she likes art get her an art case or new set of paint brushes. Music- get her an ipod or make her a cd of the music that remind your of her. Her favorite book in the first print hardcover addition. etc.. good luck

a CD or DVD, and tickets to a concert, movie, or other event, are always good gifts, and usually better than the ones you gave. a book is a great gift if the girl is a reader. a magazine is if she's not :).
