I congratulate you on the nobel undertaking. Given your interests I'd recommend checking out idealist.org. The job bank offers jobs at largely non-profit organizations and many of them deal with children. The job bank is free and you can even post your resume.

In short, look at job banks that focus on finding positions at non-profit companies and organizations. While Monster and Career Builder are nice, it is often too expensive for organizations that are service focused and driven to advertise on them.

Where do you live? Are you willing to relocate? If you are willing to move, then write to all the agencies that you are interested at every location where you'd like to live.

I suggest that you look at job consolidation sites like totaljobs.com or monster.com. These should have some vacancies that are suitable.
