Meh, whatever rolls your pant leg up. Religion is one of the most important things to know about to understand all of human history and civilization. Any honest discussion of history involves a discussion of their religion. It's a subject that facinates me, and nothing to be ashamed of.
edit:
Once again, Deke (welcome back) is totally right. Boobs are great.

I've heard it said that atheists are more obsessed with God than anybody else. I don't know if that's true but perhaps so.
Nope, it's not too much if you're enjoying the experience. Religion is a fascinating subject. I've been spending about the same amount of time here. Haven't gotten bored with it yet. It's kind of cathartic to answer these questions -- it helps to clear up some of my own ambiguous positions.
I'm agnostic, leaning toward deism. But I'm definitely very much against religion (especially the Abrahamic religions). God has never done a thing to harm mankind . . . but religions, on the other hand, have been the single most divisive influence in the history of humanity.
If people could believe WHATEVER religion they choose without all the strife, then great. But that's not the case. Just turn on CNN and see for yourself.

I too spend about 40 hours per week here and I also spend a significant amount of time when I'm not on R&S thinking about religion and spirituality. Many think that we are so preoccupied with it because we really believe but I have a tendency to agree with Skalite5 completely. Understanding religion is fundamental to understanding any society, past or present.

Never learn about religion.
But do master scriptures back in the past in school.
Just did some revision.
After getting kick on the butts.
With what went wrong out there.
When living human kind were at loss and stranded living in misery out there.
Only then understand what scriptures is all about.
Was wondering why those who pray and pray get nothing out of it.
With living examples of the mess expose in iraq and Tak Bai,Thailand.
Only then realised living human kind got kick on the butts by the three monkeys that see no evil, hear no evil and say no evil in making a mess out there.

I do seem to find myself paying more attention to religious matters in the news and among the people I know.
But much of that, I think, is because I was raised religious. It was actually the bulk of my identity, and everything else stemmed from it.
So, while I abandoned belief in religion, I still never shook the importance that the topic has in my life.
And yeah, I spend too much time in the R&S section too :P
Edit:
Hmmm, Deke has a point too...

That's too much time on the internet. I try not to think about religion. Living in America that is very hard.

Not all of it is exactly about religion. We cover a wide range of contraversial topics ranging from scientific to political. And don't forget the silly nonsense and sexual inuendos, I love that stuff. Besides, it makes the day go by faster, and this is the most socialization I get, it seems. LOL Don't sweat it, it's fun and educational, just like Epcot. LOL Party-on!

I probably do think about it too much because of Y!A. I'm also doing some reading. This is why I take breaks from here often.

i think about it quite a bit, because it's everywhere around me. doesn't mean i'm going to become religious. just because i don't agree with it doesn't mean it's not good to learn about it. especially when many religious people have the perception that atheists know nothing at all about religion.

Do you want me to answer your question about atheists or the fact that you are on R+S too much.
I think that religion is just a burden and has caused more violence then most groups.
And I think you should get some fresh air.
