But what kind of flowers (color and kind) so it would match the motif..
my bridesmaids are gonna wear red dress with gold accents like beads etc....and i would like their corsage to be of color somewhat golden (but no such thing except somewhat yellowish right?), i would like my boquet to be red flowers with gold accents..
i'm having a problem regarding the gold "flower" thing...red is so easy, i could have roses..
i want the isle to be white flowers (roses preferably) with gold and red accents too..maybe the laces could be gold and white right?
any ideas?
please post links so i could see the theme..thanks!

Everyone's theme could be different. For flowers I would let roses accent the calla lilies that would dominate the bouquet. And these can get closer to gold than yellow.

You might go overkill with white roses tinged in either red or gold. Think of slightly cheaper flowers of any kind that open up more and are in the red and gold family to line the runner or for the pews.

For the record I love red and gold a wedding colors! I used red, white and silver, so I know what you're going through. Since you are having trouble with gold flowers, use non-traditional things like ribbon, beads and jewels or anything else you can find to bring in the gold. All my flowers were silk and I had tiny crystals glued onto the petals of my center flowers (oversized roses) to add some sparkle. We also colored white floral stems using markers and curled them around a pencil, making small sprial sticks for accenting. You could do the same using gold craft paint and foral stems or you could use thick gold wire from a craft store, typically found in the jewelry making section. This would add a flash of gold without being overdone and detracting from or overshadowing the red. You could also incorporate fall leaves into the bouquet, depending on your shades of red and gold. That would be a good way to add gold without looking too flashy. I did silk flowers for a fall wedding and used colored leaves in the boquets instead of green foliage. Turned out really nice!
My experience is all with silks, but even when using real flowers there is nothing that says the whole boquet has to be flowers. There are plenty of things you can add to boquets other than flowers that will bring in your gold without being too flashy or look "Las Vegas" style. (which I think is complete hooey!) Craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Micheal's will have a plethora of things you can use!

It all sounds so beautiful. My friend recently got married and had the colours red and gold in her dress. The flowers she had are like these... http://hpbimg.flowersbymarguerite.co.uk/red%20and%20white%20wedding%20fp.JPG
I think you should go for this design, because even though there is no gold in this bouquet, the white roses will go brilliant as a substitute for the gold.
Try and go to a local florist, because they will know best, and will put bouquets together for you with gold in them.
Good luck, and have a brilliant wedding day xxx

Sounds very elegant. Have the florist make up some red roses with gold accent pieces and ribbons. Florists have wonderful ideas.

i think it would be lovely, i had silk flowers for my wedding so i could get the colours i wanted, do a search for silk flowers and see what comes up. Also you can keep them after or give them as presents and you can make them well in advance and they won't die!

Short answer to a very long question....Old Sicilian proverb:
"Carry red.....wish you were dead." Never red at a wedding.
